WORK IN PROGRESS:

  • Due to the limited choice of fabric suppliers and materials, as well as the fact that component colors are hand-painted, there may be slight discrepancies between the finished color of the costume and the character design.

  • We will make every effort to select and mix colors that closely match the character design. If you require specific details such as material manufacturer, fabric type, or color code numbers, please discuss this with us before making the deposit.

  • Additional modification fees may apply if color adjustments are required during the process.

  • If we design the character or assist in modifying the customer's design upon request, additional design fees may apply.

  • Changes to the character's design made by the customer before the deposit is paid may impact the final quote. We reserve the right to cancel the project if the revised design deviates significantly from the original.

  • If the project has already started, we cannot guarantee all changes can be made.

  • If changes occur during production, the price of the original offer might increase, depending on modifications.

  • Completion dates cannot be predicted exactly, however, we will try to provide the customer with a rough estimate of when the project may be completed.

  • We will notify the customer if we have to delay the project due to any unexpected circumstances.

  • We might update our social media with photos and videos of the production process. If your commission shall remain private, Please inform us prior to making the deposit.

  • Upon completion of the full-body costume, we will invite the customer to our studio for the official portfolio shoot. If you are unable to attend, we will arrange for an assistant of similar stature to dress up and then sanitize and clean the costume after the shoot. For head or partial costumes, a static shoot will be conducted directly without the need for dressing up.

SIZE:

  • We will require a duct-tape dummy (DTD) to be made and shipped to us if the project is a full costume. The instructions for making the DTD will be sent together with the size measurement chart.

  • An incorrectly made DTD or inaccurate measurements may cause the costume to not conform to the customer's body. In such cases, we will ask the customer to remake/remeasure.

  • We are not responsible for poor sizing if the customer provides a poor quality DTD or incorrect measurements, or if there are discrepancies between the customer's body shape and the finished costume upon receipt. Additional modification fees may be required to make the necessary adjustments.

  • If the customer is planning to gain or lose weight, we strongly recommend that the DTD and measurements are taken after achieving the desired shape.

  • If the costume no longer fits due to changes in the customer's body shape in the future, the customer may discuss alteration options and scheduling with the studio. An alteration fee will be charged accordingly.

  • We ship worldwide.

  • The shipping is not included in the quote, it has to be paid by the customer.

  • The shipping fee will be calculated based on the size, weight, country of shipment and arrival time of the package, and the actual amount will be confirmed upon completion of the project.

  • All packages are shipped with tracking code from Taiwan via Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd. If you prefer a specific logistics company, please inform us in advance before the completion of the project.

WARRANTY & REPAIR:

  • All costumes undergo thorough inspection and testing before shipment to ensure quality, and are carefully packaged. A 30-day warranty is provided starting from the date the customer receives the product.

  • If any obvious manufacturing defects are found within the warranty period (e.g., missing parts, detachment, electronic component failure, sewing issues), please contact us immediately. We will prioritize the issue and arrange necessary free repairs.

  • Damage caused by customer usage, such as fading, breakage, or damage from alcohol solvents or cleaning methods not in accordance with the care instructions, are considered human factors and are not covered by the warranty.

  • Damage caused by accidents, including but not limited to various disasters, damage during shipping, traffic accidents, or theft, are not covered by the warranty.

  • If any repair is needed, we recommend contacting our studio first. We will provide initial advice and assistance to help determine whether the item needs to be returned for further handling. Self-repair, modification, or work performed by third parties may affect the functionality and safety of the costume, and may also impact our ability to offer subsequent repair services.

  • We allow clients to commission other professionals for repairs, provided that the original appearance and style are not altered. If damage occurs as a result, we will evaluate the situation and reserve the right to decline further repairs. If the original design has been significantly altered, we will no longer provide repair services related to the original work.

  • Repair work requires separate scheduling and acceptance of repair requests depends on current workload, damage condition, and feasibility.

  • Repair services may incur fees, including repair and shipping costs. If manufacturing defects are confirmed within the warranty period, all costs will be fully covered by us. If damage is due to human factors or is beyond the warranty period, repair and round-trip shipping fees must be borne by the customer. We will provide a quote after initial assessment, and proceed only after customer confirmation.

  • Repairs are handcrafted and cannot guarantee identical restoration to the original state, which may result in minor differences including but not limited to color, symmetry, structure, and materials.

  • Please ensure costumes are cleaned before returning for repair. We do not provide cleaning services. Care instructions are provided with the finished product and should be followed properly.

  • If damage is severe, difficult to repair, or unrepairable due to failure to follow care instructions or improper use, we reserve the right to refuse repair services.

NOTES ON COOPERATION:

  • By commissioning a costume from our studio, you agree to respect the creative integrity of the work, as well as the cultural values and presentation principles we uphold. Please refrain from using our costumes in public venues or media accessible to third parties in ways that involve excessive nudity, obscenity, strong sexual suggestion, or any context that may cause significant misunderstanding or misrepresent the artistic intent. These guidelines aim to preserve the aesthetic style, character portrayal, and brand positioning of our creations, and do not restrict the personal identity or narrative of your character. In the event of such violations, our studio reserves the right to decline further maintenance, upgrades, or future collaboration.

  • Each costume crafted in our studio is unique and handmade. Due to the nature of handmade production, slight dimensional differences and variations, including symmetry, may occur. While we strive to minimize noticeable deviations, minor variations resulting from manual craftsmanship should not be viewed as defects and do not warrant alterations without compensation.

  • The materials used in our costumes naturally age over time, which can affect their appearance, structure, and integrity. Wear, use, and cleaning may accelerate this process. Please note that such wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault and is not covered by the warranty. This includes fading of color, loss of paint, impact marks, loss of fibers, fabric loosening, stitching loss, elastic band degradation, adhesive loss, yellowing of transparent objects, and deterioration of 3D printed and electronic parts.

  • The costumes created by our studio are artistic handcrafted pieces, not industrial products. Each wear may cause wear and tear to the structure and materials. Using the costume for high-intensity activities will significantly reduce its overall lifespan. If your intended use involves vigorous activities, please discuss with us prior to production and carefully consider whether our costumes are suitable for such use.

  • Our materials involve multiple vendors, such as 3D prints, electronic parts, fabrics, and accessories. Due to batch changes and manufacturing processes, slight variations in texture, color, weight, and lifespan may occur between finished pieces. These natural variations are not covered by the warranty. However, in the event of significant damages, we will follow warranty and repair procedures for further assistance.

  • During the production process, materials may need adjustments to accommodate various factors. We reserve the right to change suppliers based on production requirements or other factors. We will not notify customers of such adjustments unless specifically requested. Rest assured, we strive to maintain the quality of our costumes regardless of any supplier changes. If customers wish to specify material sources, please discuss with us before making the deposit.

  • Please be advised that our studio operates in an environment with pet cats. Customers are encouraged to consider potential allergy symptoms before opting to use our services. By agreeing to the Terms of Service, customers acknowledge and accept this risk voluntarily. Please note that we cannot be held liable for any resulting health conditions.

  • We sincerely hope that every customer will not only enjoy the experience our costumes bring, but also respect the artistic vision and cultural values upheld by our studio. To avoid potential misunderstandings, we kindly ask customers to refrain from using our costumes in public or on platforms accessible to third parties for activities involving excessive nudity, obscenity, or sexually suggestive content. Should such actions occur, we reserve the right to decline future repairs, upgrades, or collaborations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
